• Petal has helped me prepare for Chemistry Olympiads and Further Mathematics. She explains difficult concepts clearly and helps me understand them intuitively. I appreciate how she teaches me to approach problems more systematically and prepares useful resources for each session, from challenging questions across different sources to PowerPoints that organise key ideas. She also tailors lessons closely to the areas I find most difficult.

• Ming Fong is an incredibly patient and dedicated tutor who genuinely goes above and beyond. He takes the time to make sure we fully understand difficult AQA A-Level Biology concepts and is always willing to give extra help. He even made flashcards specific to my syllabus, which made Biology feel much more manageable and helped me become more confident in the subject.

• I used to get S and U grades for Economics and honestly found the syllabus really confusing. Ming Fong helped me break everything down into clear topics and chapters, which made it so much easier to understand and revise. We also did a lot of essay practice, and he would go through my answers with me, pointing out exactly where I was losing marks and how I could improve. His feedback was really specific to my weaknesses, and it made a huge difference to how I approached Economics. Thank you!

• Having Petal as my tutor has been very helpful to my grades. I like how the lessons are structured in a way that is easy for me to clarify my misunderstandings for both math and sciences while being able to receive additional practise on my weaker areas. I particularly like how complicated topics and formulas are broken down into simple explanations such as using acronyms making it easier for me to remember and memorise. I can also continuously ask questions whenever I am unsure about something where Petal will patiently repeat or try to find simpler ways to explain. This helped me gain a better understanding of the subjects and build up my academic confidence in sciences and math. Furthermore, the extra practises were helpful in my examinations where the predicted questions came out. I am grateful for the guidance and support throughout my academic year and would definitely recommend Petal to students to improve their academic performance.

• Petal has helped me improve my understanding of the topics through the extra worksheets and practice questions provided during lessons. These gave me more opportunities to apply what I learnt and helped me become more familiar with different question types. She also puts in the extra effort to prepare notes for me, making the content easier to understand and revise. I really appreciate how she takes the time to help me grasp the topics well instead of just memorising them. Her teaching style and dedication have helped me feel more confident in my studies.
