Horizon Hub was created for international A-Level students who need support built around their syllabus, assessments and goals.

Why we started

A specialist home for CAIE and Pearson IAL

While tutoring across exam boards, we saw how hard it was for international students to find support for their exact programme and learn with peers on the same syllabus.

Horizon Hub closes that gap with specialist educators, a coherent curriculum and purposeful resources.

The people behind Horizon Hub

Meet our founders

Ming Fong

Co-founder

Ming Fong has studied Law at the National University of Singapore and has tutored since 2022, teaching Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics across Singapore A-Levels, IB, AQA and CAIE curricula.

His approach is personalised and dedicated, combining careful explanation with resources tailored to each student's syllabus and areas for growth. His students have achieved A and A* grades, won Gold at Biology Olympiads and gone on to universities including Cambridge, Oxford and LSE.

Ming Fong carries that care into every class he leads at Horizon Hub, where close attention and a clear structure give students room to master difficult ideas, grow in self-belief and aim confidently for their next step.

Petal

Co-founder

Petal is an Imperial College London engineering graduate with five years of one-to-one teaching experience across Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, supporting students from both local and International A-Level curricula.

Her approach combines academic rigour with highly personalised support, helping students build deep understanding rather than rely on memorisation. Her students have achieved A and A* grades across these subjects, alongside Gold awards in Mathematics and Chemistry Olympiads.

At Horizon Hub, Petal brings this same philosophy into a focused, supportive learning environment designed to help students excel academically, think independently and develop a genuine interest in learning beyond the classroom.
